The History of Shouldham, Through Food

Join us and food historian Dr Annie Gray for a 3 course meal with each course representing a notable time in the History of Shouldham

Between each course, Dr Gray and Kathy Hipperson will talk about the relevance to Shouldham and then the history behind each of the dishes.

There will be costumes on display representing each time period as well as appropriate props/table settings decorating the oak room.

Following the meal, Annie will talk about her new book, The Greedy Queen. Bursting with original research, Annie Gray’s first book sits down at the royal table and opens the kitchen door to tell the story of what Victoria ate, and how she changed English food forever
